Keeping with the formal theme I've been doing lately, this striped dress, nude heels (last seen here) and blazer (which can also be seen here) were a perfect addition. They keep it classy for a business meeting or for a spring wedding. I also love the way that it comes in at the waist and creates an hourglass shape.
Since the weather here in Minnesota is constantly changing, it can be difficult to choose an appropriate outfit these days. I find that I am either really cold or really warm, no middle ground.
For that reason, I chose an outfit that can include all layers in order to stay warm and have removable layers to stay cool. The floral top and jeans are casual while the tan blazer and nude heels dress up the outfit. I usually opt for a tight fitting pair (skinny jeans are a personal favorite of mine), but these boyfriend jeans from Old Navy allow movement while still keeping a straight up and down shape that elongates the legs.
I hope your week is going well and I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!

A month ago our family took a trip to Cancun, Mexico. It was my first time out of the country, and it did not disappoint! I promise that I will put the family pictures up (Keep a look out for Mexico Part 2!), but for now I want to talk about the fashion side of the story. Every other day, the resort (Shout out to Royal Solaris), would have a fashion show displaying their swimsuit/cover up options. Being the freak I am, I was a little too excited and had to capture the outfits.
I love all of the bright flowey pieces! They were refreshing to see after a winter full of dark hues and lots of layers!
