Hello lovebugs!
In honor of International Women's Day, I wanted to just remind you of how wonderful you are. Seriously! Women are amazing!
But it is easy to get caught up by the world around you and feel tiny. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at the feedback and following of other blogs and have become discouraged. With social media being so prominent in our culture, it is easy to compare ourselves to others. But I want you to remember, you are amazing! Even if you wish you weighed 15 pounds less or could cook better or had a cleaner house.
STOP BASING YOUR FEATURE FILM ON SOMEONE ELSE"S HIGHLIGHT REEL!
I get so sick of people tearing each other down, we have a whole world (not to mention multiple billion dollar industries) created to make women feel like crap. We need to start building each other up. So get inspired and do something out of the ordinary. Find something you're passionate about and kick butt. 2015 is YOUR year.
This past Saturday (the 28th), I participated in the Little Red Dress Event to benefit the American Heart Association. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for the Katwalk in May!
With the ever so stylish Pachia! You can check out her fashion blog here

If you liked the red dress event, you’ll LOVE this! Give to the Kickstarter and come to Katwalk 2015 on May 16th!
Support the St. Kate’s Katwalk by donating to our Kickstarter today!
The Katwalk is an annual fashion show created by St. Catherine University students and features the works and fashion lines of Apparel Design and Fashion Merchandising students.
This years catchword is NOIR, meaning…
[ tough • dark • structural • mysterious ]
With your donation, our show will not only be amazing, but will sustain the club for years to come.
Thank you for donating and supporting the 2015 Katwalk!
Is it just me or does 20 degrees feel like -100 degrees? Maybe it’s because of the Mexico trip, but this winter feels extremely long and unusually cold! The awesome thing about doing a shoot inside is that the outside world can’t control what you wear. For this shoot, I focused on a simple timeless outfit. I wanted to incorporate these gray shoes I got at target ($3 clearance!) and this dusty blush colored cardigan (a trending color for spring!)
heck yes it has elbow patches!
Outfit details:
Sweater - H & M
Skirt - Forever 21
Tights - Kohl's
Shoes - Target
